On the morning of December 21, 2023, the Yutong Mining Card delivery ceremony and the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation on lightweight application of new materials of Angang Steel jointly organized by Yutong Mining Card, Angang Automobile Steel Marketing (Service) Center, Angang Construction Company, Bensteel Mining and CIMC Vehicle DTB Division were held in Benxi Nanfen open Pit Mine, Liaoning Province. This marks the successful application of large-size thermoformed parts developed by Angang in mining cards, achieving a “double breakthrough” in thermoformed lightweight technology and product application, and filling the gap in the market.
It is understood that the Angang Automobile steel marketing (service) center plays a leading role in sales, takes the initiative to connect with Yutong Mining card, Bensteel Mining and Angang Construction Company, promotes Angang’s new products and new technologies, and jointly develops and develops solutions with a number of industry leading enterprises. The solution innovated and developed special wear-resistant thermoforming new steel grades, broke through the technical problems of large-size thermoforming steel processing, and applied large-size thermoforming parts to mining cards for the first time in the industry.
According to reports, after the delivery of Yutong mining card top compartment with thermal forming lightweight solution, the steel strength has been increased by 3 times, the body weight has been reduced by 13%, and has excellent corrosion resistance, effectively solving the pain point problem of large mining card in special use environment, and opening up a new technical path for China’s commercial vehicle energy saving, lightweight development and green manufacturing.
