High efficient hot metal “three off” technology
Dephosphorization and desulfurization are the most important metallurgical reactions in the purification of molten steel. Compared with the converter, the main feature of the “three dephosphorization” (desulfurization, desilication, dephosphorization) process of hot metal is to transfer the dephosphorization and desulfurization reaction from high temperature and high oxygen level to low temperature and low oxygen level, which is more conducive to the occurrence of the reaction, and then solve the drawbacks of traditional steelmaking, such as sulfur return, low carbon dephosphorization and steel slag peroxide.
In order to develop a more economical and efficient “three removal” process, some experts recommend the following technologies: First, according to the coupled reaction theory, desilication, dephosphorization and desulfurization are designed in the same reactor in stages. The second is to strengthen the melting pool stirring, develop the dephosphorization process of low FeO slag (controlling TFe≤5% in slag, R=2-2.5), improve the dephosphorization efficiency of more than 80%, and semi-steel [P]≤0.02%. The third is to spray powder to solve the difficult problem of molten pool slag-making, high Ca/O ratio operation, the formation of high alkalinity, low FeO slag deep desulfurization, so that the desulfurization rate ≥90%. Fourth, by flexibly adjusting the Ca/O ratio, the degree of REDOX in the “three removal” reaction process is precisely controlled. Fifth, the slag overflow process is used in the blowing period to discharge the slag generated in each reaction period in time, and to achieve online slag upgrading.
